Business Analyst – Finance & Data Transformation

Our client, a global leader in materials science and circular technology, is looking for a professional to drive their organizational data maturity. This role focuses on transitioning from manual spreadsheet processes to integrated digital solutions while providing deep financial and workforce insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Translate organizational strategy into clear structures and frameworks by conducting detailed cost and governance impact assessments.
• Consolidate data from sources like SAP into Power BI dashboards to provide actionable workforce and financial insights.
• Define and implement system requirements for employee databases and integrated reporting tools to ensure scalability and standardization.
• Develop detailed business cases and track the progress of transformation initiatives from diagnostic to implementation phases.
• Identify and monitor financial and operational risks while ensuring data consistency and governance across all systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in HR, Finance, and IT to drive continuous process improvement and change adoption.

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and business transformation within a Finance or HR environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel for building dashboards, scenario modeling, and complex data visualization.
• Technical experience with SAP (specifically SAP FICO) and data integration workflows.
• Proven ability to define business requirements for enterprise-level HR systems and workforce data platforms.
• Strong background in building structured business cases and tracking implementation progress through diagnostic metrics.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and the ability to translate complex figures into high-level strategic insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a consultative and delivery-focused approach.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with transformation projects involving diagnostic and implementation tracking.
• Active knowledge of Dutch.
