Functional Analyst – Railway Planning & Infrastructure

Our client, a prominent organization in the transportation and infrastructure sector, is looking for a professional to support their railway planning systems. This role involves bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within a critical infrastructure environment.

• Gather and analyze business requirements from various stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and technical documentation.
• Define and manage user stories to support development within a project environment.
• Facilitate workshops with technical and business teams to ensure alignment.
• Oversee functional testing activities and provide quality assurance guidance.
• Conduct incident analysis and provide functional support for system improvements.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst.
• You possess knowledge of Story Mapping and User Stories within Agile/Scrum environments.
• You bring experience with UML and ERD for system modeling.
• You have experience working with SQL databases.
• You're familiar with data formats and tools including XML, XSLT, and SVG.
• You possess working knowledge of Miro, Jira, and Confluence.
• You bring a basic understanding of Java.
• You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English at a C1 level.
