Our client is a prominent player in the European energy sector dedicated to building a sustainable and green infrastructure. The project focuses on stabilizing sustainability reporting processes, governance, and data digitalization to ensure full compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of governance-related chapters for the 2026 sustainability statements across multiple international entities.
  • Support the implementation of general requirements and disclosures for ESRS2 and the Double Materiality Assessment.
  • Coordinate CSRD audit processes with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Execute the development of an online sustainability data and policies catalog for the organization's digital platforms.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across diverse departments, including Finance, HR, and IT, to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Document existing processes for human rights governance and support group-wide due diligence implementation.

Requirements

  • You have a Master’s degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics, or Sustainability Management.
  • You bring 5+ years of professional experience, specifically within reporting or consulting environments.
  • You possess advanced knowledge of ESRS and CSRD frameworks including experience with Double Materiality Assessments.
  • You have proven experience with external ESG or financial assurance processes.
  • You bring strong analytical and project management skills to handle complex data and reporting requirements.
  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English with a good knowledge of French.

  • Experience with GRI, SASB, or TCFD reporting frameworks.
