Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturing site, is looking for a Project Manager/Engineer to lead capital investment projects. The role focuses on the design and implementation of equipment across facilities and process areas with a strong emphasis on maintainability and long-term reliability.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion within budget and timelines.
- Manage project documentation aligned with stage gates and report on status and cashflow to steering committees.
- Investigate business cases and prepare technical scopes, URS, and budget requests for new installations.
- Lead basic and detailed design phases including technical supplier evaluations and design reviews.
- Oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities including FAT/SAT and IQ.
- Execute change management and provide OQ/PQ validation support within a GMP environment.
- Develop and hand over maintenance plans, spare parts lists, and documentation to the maintenance organization.
Requirements
- You have relevant experience managing capital investment projects from definition through commissioning within an industrial or GMP-regulated environment.
- You possess a strong understanding of maintenance practices and reliability engineering to ensure sustainable project designs.
- You're a collaborative professional capable of working closely with maintenance and technical service teams.
