Design Tools Specialist

Our client, a major player in the energy sector, is looking for a specialist to optimize and manage its digital design tools. This key role within the expertise department aims to ensure the performance of technical standards and support the digital transformation of infrastructure.

• Adapt and optimize design tools through configuration or macro development.
• Provide technical support to users and manage complex incidents in collaboration with vendors.
• Contribute to defining design methodologies and keep technical documentation up to date.
• Organize training sessions and thematic workshops for internal users.
• Validate new software versions and hardware dedicated to designers.
• Conduct technology watch to identify innovative software and hardware solutions on the market.
• Coach direct colleagues and identify upskilling needs.

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in IT or in a technical field such as civil engineering, electricity, or automation.
• You are proficient in design tools such as MicroStation, OpenUtilities Substation, and ProjectWise.
• You have excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and VBA macro development.
• You demonstrate rigor, precision, and a strong ability to organize your work independently.
• You are a strong team player with assertive communication skills.
• You are fluent in either French or Dutch, with a good command of the second national language and a professional level of English.
