Senior Software Architect – Java/Angular/TS

Our client, a leading HR services provider, is looking for a technical expert to steer the growth of their software division. The role involves defining architectural guidelines, streamlining modernization efforts, and serving as a key communication link between technical teams.

• Define architectural guidelines and standards for new and existing software projects in consultation with development teams.
• Execute technical analyses for complex software development challenges.
• Monitor technological evolutions and best practices to evaluate their applicability within the current environment.
• Coordinate technical projects and initiatives, including resource planning for implementation and maintenance.
• Serve as a strategic communication link across various teams to ensure architectural alignment.
• Advise on the best methodologies for software development and implementation based on technical research.

• 8+ years of experience in software development and technical analysis.
• You have experience with backend development using Java and Spring.
• You bring knowledge of frontend technologies including Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• You possess experience with cloud and containerization using Azure and Kubernetes.
• You have worked with Linux and GitHub within a development environment.
• You bring familiarity with legacy systems such as Cobol.
• You possess strong analytical skills and clear verbal and written communication abilities.
• You have a proactive mindset with the ability to coach and inspire others.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

• Experience with the refactoring and modernization of legacy applications.
• Willingness to obtain deeper knowledge in specific components of the software stack.
