Business Analyst – Data & Asset Management

Our client, a prominent utility provider, is seeking a Business Analyst to support the digital evolution of public lighting and monitoring infrastructure. The role focuses on bridging the gap between operations, IT, and data to transform complex technical insights into concrete business improvements and structured requirements.

• Execute detailed process and requirements analyses to align operational needs with technical data solutions.
• Capture and structure business requirements while managing a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Translate analytical insights from asset data into actionable strategies for process optimization.
• Formulate research questions and hypotheses to guide data-driven investigations and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance and fault detection workflows.
• Utilize various facilitation techniques to lead workshops and align project objectives across the organization.

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within large-scale enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of experience with data analysis focused on asset management, maintenance processes, or IoT and telemetry data.
• 3+ years of experience developing reports and data visualizations in Power BI.
• Proven experience with business process management (BPM) and process optimization methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• You possess strong stakeholder management skills and experience with professional facilitation techniques.
• You're pragmatic, hands-on, and demonstrate a strong focus on client needs.
• You are native in Dutch with C2 level proficiency in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with the Azure Data Platform.
• Experience with Databricks.
• Knowledge of French.
