Our client, a leading operator in the European energy infrastructure sector, is looking for a professional to drive the digital transformation of their asset management activities. This role focuses on harmonizing business processes and translating operational needs into robust technical specifications to support the transition toward sustainable energy.

Responsibilities

  • Model business processes and guide stakeholders through organizational redesign initiatives.
  • Identify business needs and translate them into actionable epics, features, and user stories.
  • Challenge business requirements to ensure alignment with strategic goals and pragmatic technical solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive business information models covering interfaces, reporting, and data migration.
  • Coordinate between business owners and IT partners to validate functional analyses and technical requirements.
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate software releases post-implementation.
  • Support change management by developing training materials and conducting sessions for end-users.

Requirements

  • You have 7+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and business process modeling.
  • You bring professional expertise in BPMN 2.0 and UML Class diagrams.
  • You possess a Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to critically challenge existing processes.
  • You’re capable of working independently and building consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
  • You bring excellent organizational skills and a solution-oriented, customer-centric approach.
  • You are fluent in English with professional proficiency in Dutch and/or French.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Enterprise Architect (EA) and Azure DevOps.
  • Professional experience within the electricity or utilities sector.
  • Knowledge of CIM standards such as IEC61970, IEC61968, or IEC62325.
  • Familiarity with asset reference and record systems.
