Our client, a specialist in industrial technology, is seeking a medior-level professional to strengthen their automation team. The project involves developing, programming, and optimizing software applications to meet evolving technological standards and specific customer requirements while ensuring high-quality validation and testing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and program software applications as part of a collaborative engineering team.
  • Improve and update existing software to align with new requirements and technological advancements.
  • Translate specific customer needs into functional software application features.
  • Execute and maintain software validation processes and comprehensive testing.
  • Research and investigate innovative solutions to enhance software application performance.

Requirements

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master in Engineering or ICT.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and software engineering.
  • You possess strong knowledge of Siemens Step7, TIA Portal, S7-300/400/1500, and SCADA systems.
  • You bring experience with industrial communication protocols such as OPC, Profinet, Profibus, IO Link, and Ethercad.
  • You have knowledge of .NET technologies, including VB, C#, and SQL databases.
  • You're a proactive team player willing to travel internationally for short project assignments.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Motor Drive Controls.
  • Familiarity with ORM Frameworks, Design Patterns, and validation procedures.
  • Interest in learning new methods beyond the immediate knowledge domain.
