Test Specialist – Digital Process Platforms

Our client, a prominent organization in the public safety sector, is seeking a professional to safeguard the quality of business-critical applications. This role involves working on a modern microservices platform that supports the digitalization of essential operational processes. The position focuses on establishing test strategies, driving automation, and fostering continuous improvement within an Agile environment.

• Establish, execute, and optimize comprehensive test strategies for large-scale applications.
• Design and perform both manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Drive test automation initiatives and contribute actively to the improvement of quality processes.
• Coach and support team members in best practices regarding testing and QA methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to align on quality standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation and share expertise across the project team to promote knowledge growth.

• You have 5+ years of experience as a test specialist working on business-critical applications.
• You possess experience with test automation tools such as Cypress and Ranorex.
• You have experience with API testing using Postman and SoapUI.
• You bring a strong understanding of formal test methods and techniques.
• You're experienced in working within Agile and Scrum environments.
• You are fluent in Dutch at C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working within a microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration for testing using tools like Bamboo.
• Experience with Jira, Xray, and Zephyr for test management.
• Experience coaching and guiding other testers or QA profiles.
• Knowledge of functional testing and specialized testing suites.
