Support Engineer – Broadcast & Audiovisual Technology

Our client, a prominent organization in the media sector, is looking for a support engineer to join their production environment. The role focuses on providing technical assistance to production teams and ensuring the continuity of live broadcasts across various media platforms.

• Provide first-line technical support to production staff, including journalists, editors, and directors.
• Solve technical incidents independently or coordinate with specialists to ensure rapid service restoration.
• Support technical facilities and equipment used for radio, news, and television production.
• Monitor and assist with technical projects such as new studio setups and recording systems.
• Perform testing on new equipment and software to ensure operational standards.
• Develop technical documentation and provide training to end users.

• 3+ years of experience within a media or broadcast environment.
• 3+ years of experience operating or coordinating a technical environment.
• You possess practical knowledge of audiovisual technology and broadcast systems.
• You have experience with audio and video production, editing software, and processing media files.
• You bring technical proficiency in the Windows operating system.
• You possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field such as Industrial Engineering or Informatics.
• You are willing to work in a flexible schedule including morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
• You're a proactive problem-solver with a customer-oriented and stress-resistant mindset.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of recording hardware such as microphones, mixing consoles, and video cameras.
• Familiarity with the macOS operating system.
