Our client, a leading organization in the public safety sector, is looking for a developer to design and implement a service catalogue for secure access to legacy data sources. The role involves developing a modern case management system using microservices and microfrontend architectures to support critical operational missions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a service catalogue to encapsulate legacy data sources into modern service-oriented solutions.
  • Develop microservices and microfrontends for a new case management platform to support international cooperation.
  • Implement unit and integration tests across both backend and frontend components.
  • Integrate UI/UX designs into responsive web interfaces.
  • Model databases using a code-first approach and manage necessary migrations.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure as code.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate within an Agile Scrum environment.

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years backend development with .NET 8, C#, and EF Core.
  • You possess 3+ years frontend development with Angular, Module Federation, NX, and RXJS.
  • You have experience with architecture and design patterns using Microservices, Microfrontends, and Clean Architecture.
  • You bring experience with data and integration using PostgreSQL, REST API, and Redis.
  • You possess experience with DevOps and CI/CD using GitLab, GIT, and Terraform.
  • You have experience with testing and quality including unit testing and integration testing.
  • You have knowledge of security and identity using OpenID and OAuth.
  • You bring experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • You're proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work autonomously.
  • You are fluent in English with active knowledge of French or Dutch.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with gRPC, SignalR, RabbitMQ, MassTransit, or Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Argo CD, Prime NG, PgLite, or IndexedDB.
  • Familiarity with O365 authentication and security or cryptography.
  • Previous experience within a public safety or judicial environment.
  • Passive knowledge of French or Dutch.
