Responsibilities
Our client operates large-scale industrial logistics environments and develops in-house software solutions to support the movement and tracking of goods across multiple transport modes.
To strengthen an internal logistics software team, the organization is looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer who combines functional insight with hands-on development experience across backend and frontend applications.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain industrial logistics applications supporting the tracking of trucks, trains, and vessels.
- Work on both backend and frontend components within a .NET-based application landscape.
- Deliver new functionality and enhancements to existing applications, as well as contribute to larger software projects.
- Collaborate closely with analysts, developers, and project stakeholders to translate functional needs into technical solutions.
- Implement, test, and document software in a structured and maintainable way.
- Contribute to the reliability and continuity of logistics systems by participating in application support activities.
Requirements
- You have a Master’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- You have strong hands-on experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- You have experience building user interfaces with WPF.
- You have solid experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
- You work in a precise and structured way, with attention to testing, documentation, and code quality.
- You are fluent in Dutch or are willing to acquire working knowledge in the short term, and you can communicate professionally in English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience developing software in a production or industrial environment.
- Experience balancing business needs with technical constraints.
- Hands-on experience with Angular.

- Working model: Hybrid (maximum 2 days remote per week after onboarding)
- Onboarding: First 6 months fully onsite
- On-call duty: Participation in an application on-call rotation is required
- Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers
