Senior Full Stack Developer – Python & Google Cloud Platform

Our client, a leading innovation lab and accelerator focused on digital B2B trade solutions, is seeking a senior expert to drive technical excellence. The role involves shaping core architecture, implementing AI-driven automation, and building scalable cloud-native applications in an autonomous environment.

• Lead the technical build of APIs, data platforms, and overall application architecture in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Act as a senior advisor to define the most effective technologies, tools, and architectures for various projects.
• Deploy best practices systematically to ensure sustainable scalability and high-quality modular code.
• Develop and maintain Python-based web services and robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement AI-based regression testing and provide technical insights for business analysis.
• Automate internal tasks and create custom technical solutions for risk and data analytics teams.

• You have 8+ years of backend development experience with Python, FastAPI, Celery, SQLModel, and Pydantic.
• You possess 8+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform, including GKE, Compute Engine, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL.
• You bring 8+ years of expertise in DevOps and CI/CD using Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD.
• You have extensive experience with data and integration tools such as PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic.
• You possess deep knowledge of security and identity management including JWT, IAM, and Secret Manager.
• You have experience with REST APIs and the programmatical usage of AI models like Vertex AI or Pydantic AI.
• You're experienced in Linux system administration, Nginx, VPC networking, and Wireguard.
• You're a structured self-starter with a proactive approach and a high level of professional integrity.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with frontend development using TypeScript, Next.js, and NPM.
• Knowledge of Wordpress administration and theme development.
• Experience with data architecture or a background in B2B trade.
• Active knowledge of Dutch or French.
