Our client, a leading entity in the utilities and infrastructure sector, is looking for a specialist to join their Digital Security & Risk Office. This role centers on the formal monitoring and management of digital risks across a broad landscape while collaborating with numerous risk owners. The position requires a deep understanding of security standards to translate theoretical guidelines into robust, practical architectures for IT, OT, and IoT environments.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, manage, and report on digital risks in collaboration with over twenty risk owners.
  • Create implementable security architectures designed to withstand modern cyber threats.
  • Perform detailed risk analyses and facilitate threat modeling exercises for diverse projects.
  • Convert high-level security and privacy policies into technical architectural designs.
  • Implement international security standards across IT, OT, and IoT systems.
  • Act as the primary coordinator for risk and security between various technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a risk manager within complex digital landscapes of more than 5000 users.
  • 5+ years of expertise in IT, IoT, Cloud, and OT security architectures.
  • You bring proven experience managing cybersecurity risks specifically for NIS2 essential entities.
  • You possess deep knowledge of NIS2 and GDPR legislation and its application in digital environments.
  • You have extensive experience with risk management standards such as ISO/IEC 27005.
  • You bring a thorough understanding of ISO 27001 and ISO 27002, supported by certifications like CISM or CISSP.
  • You have experience protecting information and transport across Azure cloud, on-premises systems, and web applications.
  • You possess knowledge of secure software development (SDLC) and ITIL frameworks.
  • You bring familiarity with Artificial Intelligence management frameworks such as ISO 42001.
  • You are an excellent communicator and are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with procurement dossiers in accordance with public procurement legislation.
