Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization, is seeking a Reference Standard Owner to support a highly regulated production environment. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of assigned reference standards, ensuring all qualification and requalification activities meet stringent quality standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage the qualification strategy for assigned reference standards to maintain continuous compliance.
- Coordinate analytical testing with internal and external laboratories to ensure timely certification and availability.
- Evaluate test packages and requalification results to determine appropriate storage conditions and retest periods.
- Issue Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and maintain accurate records within the reference standard management system.
- Lead investigations and document events, deviations, or CAPAs within the TrackWise system.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring full compliance with GMP and EHS guidelines.
Requirements
- You have a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
- You bring 1+ years of experience in an analytical GMP environment.
- You possess technical knowledge of chromatographic techniques such as LC, UPLC, and GC, alongside wet chemistry and titrations.
- You have knowledge of spectrometric characterization techniques including LC-MS, GC-MS, and NMR.
- You're structured, detail-oriented, and quality-driven with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- You are fluent in English.
Nice to Haves
- Understanding of analytical techniques such as TGA, DSC, IR, DVS, or specific optical rotation.
- Previous experience with TrackWise or similar quality management systems.
