Senior Specialist Microbiology

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Specialist Microbiology to serve as a project manager within their quality organization. This role involves managing complex microbiological topics and ensuring high standards of compliance and safety.

• Manage projects within the quality department by initiating and following up on organizational changes.
• Act as a biosafety officer to maintain and improve a safe working environment.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current practices.
• Represent the department as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during internal and external audits.
• Evaluate cGMP guidelines and pharmacopoeia updates to propose necessary compliance adaptations.
• Support inspection readiness programs and take ownership of specific quality sub-systems.

• You have a Master of Science or equivalent through professional experience.
• You bring 8+ years of experience within a pharmaceutical GMP environment.
• You possess deep expertise in microbiology laboratory operations and cGMP regulations.
• You're a resilient team player with strong communication skills and a high sense of responsibility.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
