Procurement Category Manager

Our client is a global leader in the pharmaceutical sector seeking a Procurement Category Manager. This role focuses on driving strategic sourcing, managing supplier relationships, and implementing global procurement projects within a complex matrix environment.

• Manage procurement categories by leading sourcing, supplier selection, and negotiations.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to support supply chain objectives and drive change.
• Oversee supplier relationships to ensure alignment with supply, quality, and cost targets.
• Support the implementation of global projects and manage complex supplier transitions.
• Develop and deliver clear objectives and targets for specific procurement categories.
• Act as a change agent to demonstrate the added value of the procurement function within the organization.

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, supply chain, or business.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in supply chain and procurement.
• You possess 3+ years of experience in direct procurement.
• You have experience working in multinational companies and complex matrix organizations.
• You're a strong leader with excellent problem-solving and conflict management skills.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch.
