Our client is looking for a backend specialist to develop, program, and maintain robust software applications for critical business operations. The role focuses on the design and architecture of high-availability microservices with a strong emphasis on performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend architectures based on microservices while ensuring system consistency.
- Develop high-availability and scalable solutions for critical production environments.
- Ensure backward compatibility and effective versioning during service deployments.
- Perform technical analysis and document application evolutions to guarantee maintainability.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to uphold high-quality code standards.
Requirements
- You have 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java 21 and Spring.
- You bring proven experience in Reactive Programming and Reactive Streams.
- You possess expertise in Microservices architecture design, including high availability and versioning.
- You have experience with RESTful APIs and Soap APIs.
- You bring knowledge of database management using Oracle, SQL, or DB2.
- You possess proficiency in Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
- You have experience working with JIRA in an Agile environment.
- You're proactive, analytical, and an excellent communicator.
- You are fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
Nice to Haves
- Proficiency in IntelliJ.
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, XSD, and WSDL.
