Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking an MSAT Lab Scientist to support a high-priority project focused on commercial biologics manufacturing. This role focuses on supporting manufacturing through process optimization, technology transfers, and scientific investigations within a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor upstream bioreactor experiments and manage representative small-scale models.
  • Prepare media and support various manufacturing-related laboratory activities.
  • Analyze experimental and manufacturing data using statistical interpretation.
  • Draft technical documentation including protocols, reports, and GMP-compliant records.
  • Support scientific investigations and deviations to ensure operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate technology transfer and process validation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in Upstream Processing (USP) and hands-on bioreactor operations.
  • You bring a proven track record in a biopharma or biotechnology environment with the ability to conduct experiments independently.
  • You possess strong technical writing skills for protocols, reports, and GMP documentation.
  • You're able to prioritize and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as JMP, R, or Python.
  • Active knowledge of French.
  • Willingness to obtain experience in technology transfer or process validation projects.
