Our client, a prominent financial services provider, is seeking a specialist to strengthen their digital defense capabilities. This role focuses on analyzing and mitigating security risks across a complex digital infrastructure while developing proactive strategies to counter evolving cyber threats.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate suspicious activities and execute remediating actions within a security operations center environment.
  • Maintain and optimize security monitoring tools to ensure effective system protection and visibility.
  • Perform penetration tests to identify potential flaws and vulnerabilities within the architecture.
  • Document and monitor security breaches while assessing their impact on the organization.
  • Manage vulnerability life cycles and coordinate remediation efforts across various IT departments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align security processes with business priorities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in information security, specifically focused on proactively monitoring and remedying security breaches.
  • You have extensive knowledge of vulnerability management, cyber risk management, and incident management including root cause analysis.
  • You possess expertise in OWASP principles and web security.
  • You bring experience with application management and open systems.
  • You have worked within Agile environments.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and a proactive, result-driven mindset.
  • You're an independent team player who takes ownership of security processes and documentation.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Nice to Haves

  • Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting purposes.
  • Basic understanding of programming principles.
