Senior Functional Analyst – SimCorp Dimension & Investment Operations

Our client, a leading asset management organization, is seeking a professional to help build and maintain their core investment platform. This role involves managing the functional design of complex information systems while ensuring the seamless integration of front-to-back investment processes within a mature financial environment.

• Design, configure, and maintain solutions within SimCorp Dimension across front-office, risk, and integration domains.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust functional and technical specifications for scalable solutions.
• Manage data flows and system integrations using DEX, DFS, and Communication Server protocols.
• Analyze service requests to determine feasibility, technological changes, and project time estimates.
• Support system modules including Trade Manager, Compliance Manager, and Asset Manager configuration.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of system enhancements from initial analysis through to production deployment.
• Collaborate within multiskilled agile teams to ensure quality delivery, testing, and continuous platform improvement.

• You have 8+ years of experience in functional analysis within the banking or insurance sectors.
• You possess extensive hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension in an asset management or investment operations context.
• You bring deep knowledge of front-to-back investment processes, including portfolio management, trading, and accounting.
• You're experienced with Agile methodologies and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• You have technical proficiency in integration tools and protocols such as DEX, DFS, XML, XSLT, Oracle, and FIX.
• You possess strong conceptual thinking skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• You're a proactive team player with excellent stakeholder management and structured communication skills.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with UAC/UDM and Perl scripting.
• Knowledge of risk calculations such as VaR and Collateral & Margin Manager.
• Familiarity with SWIFT and Communication Server integration.
• Willingness to participate in on-call activities for second-line application support.

• Start date: First day of the month.
• Duration: 300 days.
• Work regime: Full-time.
• Location: Brussels.
• Working model: Hybrid with regular presence at the office in Brussels.
