Senior IT Project Manager - Business Solutions

A global industrial organization specializing in sustainable chemical products is strengthening its IT delivery capabilities and is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead Business Solutions initiatives across financial and industrial domains. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end delivery of enterprise applications and digital platforms connected to a broader enterprise ecosystem, operating in a dynamic manufacturing environment undergoing significant transformation.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT and Business Solutions projects across financial and industrial domains.
• Define and execute project plans covering scope, resources, timelines, risks, governance, and quality.
• Manage project delivery using structured methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, and V-cycle/W-cycle approaches.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, IT teams, system integrators, and external vendors.
• Ensure successful deployment, integration, or decommissioning of enterprise solutions.
• Organize and lead governance forums such as steering committees and project monitoring meetings.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and performance indicators to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide structured project reporting and progress updates to governance bodies and senior stakeholders.
• Support vendor and system integrator selection processes and manage supplier relationships.
• Ensure smooth transition of implemented solutions to operational support teams.
• Contribute to data quality initiatives such as database cleanup and deduplication activities.

• You have proven experience as an IT Project Manager delivering enterprise business solutions.
• You have experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder IT projects.
• You are experienced with structured project methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, or similar frameworks.
• You have experience working with V-cycle or W-cycle delivery methodologies.
• You have experience applying Agile project management approaches.
• You demonstrate strong stakeholder management and supplier management capabilities.
• You have experience coordinating vendors and system integrators.
• You have strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex topics into clear project documentation.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of enterprise system environments including SAP ecosystems and integrations.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Professional knowledge of French.

• Start date: Target September (earlier onboarding possible).
• Duration: Initial contract of 6 months.
• Work regime: Full-time.
• Location: Ertvelde, Belgium.
• Working model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite per week).
• Travel: Occasional travel to other European sites may be required.
• Contract: Freelance or Permanent.
