Business Analyst – Maritime & DevOps Solutions

Our client, a key player in the maritime and logistics sector, is seeking a Business Analyst to join a DevOps team dedicated to developing state-of-the-art applications for the port community. This role involves analyzing complex information and translating business needs into high-quality software services within domains such as nautical operations, safety, and asset management.

• Gather business requirements and define project scope in collaboration with architects and stakeholders.
• Map business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Translate business needs into concrete functional requirements for the development team.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to align expectations and requirements.
• Develop and execute test scenarios to ensure software quality.
• Support Product Owners in formulating clear acceptance criteria for new software features.

• 3+ years experience in general business operations applied to ICT.
• 3+ years experience working with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• 3+ years experience determining requirements through the facilitation of workshops.
• 3+ years experience with software testing and quality assurance.
• You possess experience in the development and optimization of business processes using BPM.
• You have functional knowledge of data modeling and SQL.
• You bring experience in stakeholder management and project management facets such as timing and coordination.
• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, IT, or a related field.
• You're certified in BPMN Fundamentals.
• You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• 3+ years experience specifically as a Functional Analyst.
