Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization, is seeking a professional to ensure high-quality performance through microbiological testing of materials and products. This role involves executing precise laboratory analysis and reporting results to maintain rigorous quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and evaluate microbiological tests on raw materials, semi-finished products, and packaging materials.
  • Record test results accurately into the LIMS system and prepare comprehensive analysis reports.
  • Initiate and manage Out Of Trend (OOT) or Out Of Spec (OOS) investigations when necessary.
  • Prepare and control growth media and identify recovered micro-organisms from laboratory tests.
  • Ensure all laboratory activities comply with cGMP guidelines and perform regular equipment calibrations.
  • Monitor environmental registrations and evaluate water controls for various systems including WFI and clean steam.
  • Review test results of other analysts and provide peer-to-peer training as required.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in science, with a strong background in microbiology.
  • You bring 1+ years of experience in a similar laboratory environment, though motivated junior candidates are welcome.
  • You possess knowledge of aseptic techniques and conducting activities according to cGMP guidelines.
  • You have experience with LIMS and managing deviation reports, OOS, or OOT findings.
  • You're accurate, responsible, and a proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills.
  • You are fluent in English with a passive knowledge of French.

Nice to Haves
