Automation Project Engineer - Siemens

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking an Automation Project Engineer to lead specialized system upgrades. The project focuses on modernizing shopfloor systems and ensuring compliance with stringent industry regulations.

• Manage the upgrade of legacy HMI systems to TIA Portal and oversee WinCC conversions.
• Coordinate the integration of Simatic Logon and ensure system alignment with corporate standards.
• Develop and maintain validation lifecycle documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct testing of shopfloor systems and execute formal validation protocols.
• Provide technical support to production and operations teams during project startup phases.
• Ensure all automation activities comply with GDP and GxP standards.

• You have 2+ years of experience in project management within a pharmaceutical engineering environment.
• You bring a strong understanding of GAMP5 and the System Validation Lifecycle.
• You possess technical proficiency with TIA Portal, Siemens Step 7, and Microsoft SQL.
• You're familiar with pharmaceutical quality standards such as GDP and GxP.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
