Our client, a leading organization in the national railway sector, is looking for an expert to bridge the gap between business needs and complex IT solutions. This role focuses on the long-term evolution of geospatial data services and the implementation of safety protection systems within a specialized technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Align business requirements with the existing and future IT application landscape.
  • Manage the implementation and maintenance of GIS services and specialized geospatial solutions.
  • Coordinate the follow-up of integrated safety protection systems implemented by external partners.
  • Oversee the evolution of infrastructure topology models within a 3-to-5-year strategic vision.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical IT development teams.
  • Participate in on-call duties to ensure system availability and support.

Requirements

  • You have 15+ years of experience as a business analyst bridging the gap between business and IT for software developments.
  • You bring 15+ years of expertise working with ETL tools in large-scale IT projects.
  • You possess 10+ years of experience as a data architect for projects involving data from diverse sources.
  • You have 10+ years of technical knowledge in railway signaling systems, including EBP and Interlocking.
  • You bring 10+ years of experience in GIS and railway topology covering design and asset management.
  • You have 2+ years of experience in infrastructure work management and related safety protocols.
  • You're a professional communicator with strong presentation skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • You are fluent in French or Dutch with intermediate knowledge (B1) of the other national language and English.
