Our client, a leading player in the telecommunications sector, is active in the large-scale deployment of fiber-to-the-home networks. They are seeking an engineer to join the technical team to select equipment, develop services, and validate solutions within a lab and field environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead lab development and validation for new telecommunication equipment and software.
- Define, prioritize, and execute test plans while producing detailed technical reports.
- Perform root-cause analysis on technical issues and coordinate with vendors for fixes.
- Manage technical project aspects including specifications, service development, and progress monitoring.
- Monitor and improve Quality of Service (QoS) across access equipment and backbone networks.
- Resolve complex production issues in collaboration with cross-functional expert teams.
Requirements
- You have a Master's degree in engineering.
- You possess 5+ years of experience in developing access network solutions for a network service operator or equipment supplier.
- You bring advanced knowledge of fixed access networks and Ethernet/IP networks.
- You're analytical, structured, and possess strong communication skills.
- You are fluent in English.
