Senior Security Engineer & Project Manager – Infrastructure & Cyber Defense

Our client, a leading organization focused on digital transformation, is looking for a versatile professional to manage end-to-end security initiatives. This role combines strategic project management with hands-on technical implementation to enhance digital resilience across diverse infrastructure, development, and OT domains.

• Oversee the end-to-end execution of security projects including planning, resource coordination, and budget management.
• Implement and configure technical security solutions within infrastructure, software development, and OT environments.
• Translate security policies into practical workflows, procedures, and controls to ensure organizational compliance.
• Manage and optimize security tools including the Microsoft Defender suite and Identity & Access Management (IAM) systems.
• Act as a technical advisor for internal stakeholders regarding security architecture and risk mitigation strategies.
• Perform deep-dive incident analysis to identify structural improvements and enhance the overall security posture.

• 8+ years experience in Cybersecurity and Security Project Management.
• 5+ years expertise in Security Architecture and enterprise security frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and CyberFundamentals.
• 5+ years working with Identity & Access Management (IAM), Entra ID, and Active Directory.
• 5+ years experience in Networking and System Engineering within enterprise environments.
• You possess deep technical knowledge of the Microsoft Defender suite.
• You're proactive and solution-oriented with strong stakeholder management and advisory skills.
• You are a native speaker of Dutch.
