Our client, a major player in the petrochemical industry, is seeking a Construction Planner for a large-scale industrial project. The role involves developing and reviewing project control systems, including planning and reporting, to ensure efficient work execution while coordinating construction, commissioning, and operational readiness schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Build and conduct ongoing reviews of the project control system, including planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Evaluate and validate planning information from construction teams to advise management on corrective actions.
  • Participate in construction schedule risk analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of collected scheduling data.
  • Coordinate with commissioning and operations teams to align schedules for full operational readiness.
  • Provide technical guidance to construction managers by analyzing pertinent data and resolving scheduling problems.
  • Consolidate progress reports and integrate lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in project execution.

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field.
  • You bring 5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas or petrochemical industry.
  • You possess experience with large-scale projects and in-depth knowledge of industrial operations.
  • You have experience with Primavera for project planning and scheduling.
  • You possess excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are analytical, self-motivated, and have strong communication and presentation skills.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch.
