Our client, a global leader in the logistics and transportation sector, is looking for a designer to support critical airline and road transportation operations. The role involves translating complex business processes into intuitive web and mobile applications while establishing consistent design standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design user-friendly web and mobile applications using modern front-end frameworks.
  • Create user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Develop complex visualization screens such as tables, trees, charts, and interactive components.
  • Establish and document UI/UX design principles to ensure a consistent and scalable user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to user stories and increase engineering productivity.
  • Present and justify design decisions clearly to product teams, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer focusing on complex enterprise or business applications.
  • 5+ years of experience with UX and design tools, specifically Figma, for wireframing and prototyping.
  • You have extensive experience in web, mobile, and responsive design.
  • You bring a proven track record of creating end-to-end user experiences.
  • You possess experience with user research, usability testing, personas, and data-informed design.
  • You're analytical, inquisitive, and able to defend design decisions effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with the technical possibilities of Angular, React, and micro front-end architectures.
  • Knowledge of the full web application development lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Dutch.
