IT Project Manager – Application & Infrastructure Development

Our client, a prominent educational and research institution, is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple ICT initiatives with significant technical components. The role involves driving results by bridging the gap between technical teams, internal departments, and external vendors while managing the full project lifecycle.

• Lead and coordinate multiple ICT projects involving both infrastructure and software development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships between internal departments and external suppliers.
• Act as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders to ensure transparent communication.
• Apply project management techniques to effectively manage risks, issues, and resources.
• Oversee the delivery and optimization of individual project tracks to meet organizational goals.
• Take ownership of project milestones and drive the successful realization of concrete results.

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure or software development projects.
• 5+ years of experience overseeing and optimizing multiple individual projects concurrently.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT software development lifecycles.
• You possess deep knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince2 or PMBok.
• You bring experience in managing and delivering projects with external vendors.
• You have proficiency in MS Project and MS Office tools including Excel and Powerpoint.
• You possess a solid understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented, and excel at building professional bridges.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working within a public sector or government context.
• Knowledge of public procurement and open tendering processes.
• Experience with complex integration projects.
• Professional certification in Prince2 or PMBok.
