Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is looking for a Product Owner for Cybersecurity Testing & Exposure Management. This role focuses on developing and managing offensive security services and vulnerability management processes to strengthen digital safety across a diverse technological landscape. The professional will bridge stakeholder needs with technical roadmaps to ensure scalable and high-quality security solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Translate stakeholder needs and challenges into concrete service improvements and product roadmaps.
  • Organize, execute, and coordinate activities within the cybersecurity testing and exposure management domains.
  • Manage and further develop supporting processes, methodologies, and solutions within the service scope.
  • Prepare and guide sourcing and procurement processes, including defining requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Oversee external service providers by monitoring service levels and conducting performance reviews.
  • Review and validate results and deliverables to ensure the highest quality of offensive security activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a Product Owner or in a similar leadership role.
  • 5+ years as a Security Consultant within data, infrastructure, or application environments.
  • 5+ years professional experience with exposure management solutions such as vulnerability scanners and ASM.
  • 5+ years expertise in Information Security, including penetration testing and vulnerability analysis.
  • You possess experience analyzing, optimizing, and documenting security processes and governance frameworks.
  • You have attained certificates such as CISM, CISSP, or CEH.
  • You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

  • 5+ years experience with security management frameworks like ISO/IEC 27000, COBIT, NIST, OWASP, or CIS.
  • 3+ years experience conducting RFI/RFP trajectories and evaluating vendor proposals.
  • 3+ years experience with SLA/KPI definition, service reviews, and escalation management.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as OSSTMM and PTES.

  • Working model: Hybrid (onsite in Brussel on alternating Tuesday/Wednesday and Wednesday/Thursday)
