Senior Scientist – NBE & Gene Therapy Formulation Development

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Senior Scientist to join their formulation development team. This role focuses on advancing therapeutic antibody and gene therapy programs through preclinical and clinical stages while providing scientific leadership within multidisciplinary project teams.

• Lead the formulation development of therapeutic antibodies and AAV-based products across preclinical, clinical, and commercial phases.
• Design, execute, and interpret laboratory studies to support formulation screening, characterization, and stability assessments.
• Represent the formulation development function in cross-functional project teams to provide scientific leadership and strategic input.
• Analyze and present complex scientific data to support critical CMC decisions and project advancements.
• Drive scientific innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and methodologies within the organization.
• Mentor and develop team members to foster technical expertise and scientific excellence within the group.

• Master's degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• You have 5+ years of experience in formulation development of therapeutic antibodies or AAV gene therapies.
• You bring a strong understanding of CMC development activities across preclinical and clinical phases for biological products.
• You possess demonstrated ability to independently lead scientific projects from strategy definition through data interpretation.
• You're proficient in laboratory techniques and analytical methods supporting biopharmaceutical development.
• You have a proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• You are fluent in English.
