Global Medical Head

The Global Medical Head – Integrated Evidence Generation (IEG) is responsible for leading the development and execution of the integrated evidence generation strategy for a designated asset. The role ensures alignment between evidence generation activities and the overall asset strategy to deliver robust and impactful data supporting medical, clinical, and strategic decision-making.

Working at a global level, the position collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to identify evidence gaps, prioritize research initiatives, and drive the execution of the Integrated Evidence Strategy and Execution Plan (ISEG).

• Define and lead the integrated evidence generation strategy aligned with the asset strategy.
• Identify evidence gaps, priorities, and research opportunities to support asset value and patient outcomes.
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Evidence Strategy and Execution Plan (ISEG).
• Ensure alignment and collaboration across medical, clinical, market access, and other cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the execution of evidence generation studies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data.
• Monitor progress through key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure strategic impact.
• Lead prioritization of post-hoc analyses and additional evidence generation activities.
• Identify and develop external partnerships and collaborations supporting evidence generation initiatives.
• Support lifecycle management and new patient population strategies.

• Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, MD, or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or Market Access.
• Proven experience developing and implementing global evidence generation strategies.
• Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies and real-world evidence (RWE).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
