Our client, a prominent organization in the public sector, is looking for a Functional Analyst to support large-scale, business-critical applications. This role involves translating complex business needs into technical designs within a dynamic project environment.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, including use cases and user stories.
  • Facilitate stakeholder management by acting as the bridge between business units and technical development teams.
  • Document and optimize business processes using BPMN and DMN standards.
  • Develop comprehensive test cases and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality.
  • Apply user story mapping techniques to align project scope with user needs.
  • Provide technical insights for applications within multi-tier and web-enabled environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a functional analyst working on large-scale, business-critical applications.
  • You possess experience with technical environments and have working knowledge of Javascript.
  • You bring proven experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
  • You have experience with user story mapping, writing use cases, and defining test cases.
  • You’re experienced in coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
  • You are fluent in Dutch with a C2 level.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with BPMN, DMN, and workflow automation tools like Camunda.
  • Knowledge of OO design concepts, UML, and multi-tier architectures.
  • Experience with data modeling techniques and Postgres databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Atlassian Tools.
