Our client, a leader in the biopharmaceutical sector, is looking for a senior professional to drive electrical and instrumentation projects. This role involves overseeing the complete project lifecycle from basic design through to commissioning and final handover in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and review basic and detailed electrical designs, including functional analysis and technical specifications.
  • Oversee the development and review of P&ID and PFD to ensure alignment with user requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering offices and suppliers to ensure all technical standards and project deliverables are met.
  • Manage on-site construction activities through regular spot checks and detailed planning for the electrical scope.
  • Drive commissioning and qualification activities, including FAT/SAT and final technical documentation.
  • Act as a technical expert during HAZOP, QRA, and FMEA risk assessments to ensure safety and quality.
  • Ensure project compliance with HSE, sustainability guidelines, and cGMP regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • You have a Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • You bring 10+ years of relevant experience in Electrical and Instrumentation engineering within industrial environments.
  • You possess extensive expertise in Basic Design, Detailed Design, and Commissioning of complex equipment.
  • You're experienced in leading technical risk assessments such as HAZOP, QRA, and FMEA.
  • You are proactive, rigorous, and able to manage stakeholders across different departments independently.
  • You are fluent in French.

  • Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of biopharmaceutical operations.
  • Experience with EPC and EPCM project delivery models.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and EHS standards with professional command of English.
