Our client, a prominent organization in the utilities sector, is looking for an IAM Analyst & Architect to lead their identity governance initiatives. The project involves defining a comprehensive target operating model and strategy to enhance security and compliance across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Elaborate the organizational IAM strategy and target operating model in accordance with security principles and NIS2 regulations.
  • Design and adapt Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) systems in collaboration with HR.
  • Lead the functional assessment and implementation of IAM-related tools including MFA, SSO, and PAM.
  • Identify security gaps and propose automated solutions to improve provisioning workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate recurring user access re-certifications and maintain clear documentation for user entitlements.
  • Act as a key functional resource to translate business and HR needs into technical identity requirements.

Requirements

  • You bring experience in the definition and revision of IAM target operating models and organizational strategies.
  • You have 3+ years of experience in the design and improvement of IAM processes, specifically JML and re-certification.
  • You possess experience with the design and integration of IAM domains including MFA, Passwordless, and SSO.
  • You have experience working with Active Directory, Entra ID, and IGA solutions, including identity data flows and provisioning principles.
  • You bring experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as WALLIX and password vaulting.
  • You have the ability to analyze complex data flows and challenge technical design decisions from a functional perspective.
  • You are fluent in English with a perfect knowledge of Dutch or French and passive knowledge (B1) of the other.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with scripting and process automation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for complex data analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR and NIS2.
  • Understanding of integration protocols and APIs including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.

  • Working model: Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite 
  • Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers
