Our client, a major player in the Belgian energy sector, is seeking a Test Coordinator to support diverse applications within the data management and market dynamics domain. This role involves leading testing activities for specific releases and projects while driving test automation initiatives. The focus lies on delivering high-quality test designs and providing clear insights for go/no-go decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive test plans and designs for various ICT applications.
  • Execute manual and automated test scenarios across different technology platforms.
  • Coordinate testing activities for software releases and specific integration projects.
  • Deliver clear insights into test results to support go/no-go decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium.
  • Collaborate within Agile teams to share knowledge and optimize testing processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in test automation with Selenium and Java.
  • 5+ years as a Test Coordinator using formal testing methods and techniques.
  • 5+ years utilizing Jira and Zephyr for test reporting and scenario management.
  • 5+ years performing functional and technical analysis with UML and Use Case modeling.
  • 3+ years experience within the Belgian energy sector.
  • You bring knowledge of MIG6 market processes.
  • You possess experience working in Agile or Scrum project environments.
  • You possess an ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing and a Java Certified Associate certification.
  • You're fluent in Dutch (level C2).

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in guiding go/no-go decisions based on test reporting.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology platforms quickly.
