Business Analyst – Insurance & Claims Management

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is looking for a Business Analyst to spearhead digital and transversal projects. The role focuses on optimizing claims management solutions while providing project leadership and ensuring seamless delivery across business and IT teams.

• Define and refine business requirements through collaborative stakeholder sessions and show-and-tell presentations.
• Manage the requirements backlog by translating business needs into actionable user stories.
• Lead digital and transversal projects, overseeing planning, milestones, budget, and stakeholder management.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scenarios to ensure the quality of functional solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during project implementation, roll-out, and after-care phases.
• Produce structured documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure smooth transitions to operational teams.

• You have 5+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and backlog management.
• You possess 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically within Non-Life (IARD) and claims management.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in project management, including planning, budget tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• You have 5+ years of experience in application testing, including the creation of test plans and scenarios.
• You possess advanced proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite.
• You bring a Master’s degree in IT, Economy, Management, or a related scientific field.
• You’re well-organized with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to manage complex priorities independently.
• You possess excellent communication skills and experience in workshop animation and coaching junior team members.
• You are fluent in English, Dutch, and French.
