Our client, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking an expert to oversee large-scale infrastructure projects. The role involves serving as the technical owner for critical utility systems throughout the entire project lifecycle from design to handover.
Responsibilities
- Act as the technical owner for HVAC and Black Utilities packages, including steam, compressed air, and water systems.
- Review and challenge technical documentation such as URS, PFDs, P&IDs, and mass and heat balances.
- Define technical specifications and support the procurement process through RFQs.
- Coordinate activities between external engineering offices, contractors, and internal construction teams.
- Ensure project compliance with cGMP, EHS, and quality requirements.
- Participate in field follow-up, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and qualification activities following ASTM E2500.
- Support the handover process to operations and facilitate user training sessions.
Requirements
- You have 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering within pharmaceutical or highly regulated environments.
- You bring advanced technical expertise in HVAC and Black Utilities systems.
- You possess a solid understanding of cGMP requirements and regulatory standards.
- You have experience managing all project phases from concept and basic design through to qualification.
- You're autonomous and proactive with the communication skills needed to manage external engineering offices.
- You are fluent in French with a strong technical command of English.

- Experience with EPC or EPCM projects and energy optimization initiatives.
- Background in maintenance, facilities management, or clean utilities.
- Willingness to obtain BF5 safety certification.
