Test Automation Engineer – OpenText UFT & HP ALM

Our client, a leading organization in the insurance sector, is looking for a specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of their software applications. This role focuses on the execution, maintenance, and development of automated test scripts while identifying defects to support the successful delivery of business solutions.

• Execute, maintain, and develop automated test scripts using specific testing tools and frameworks.
• Optimize object repositories and test assets to ensure long-term reliability and reusability.
• Identify, track, and report defects early in the lifecycle to drive continuous software improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to ensure timely resolution of testing issues.
• Contribute to the governance and coordination of testing practices within the division.

• 3+ years of experience with OpenText UFT and HP ALM, including test suite creation and script optimization.
• 3+ years of test automation using VB script and Hybrid Frameworks involving data and keyboard-driven methodologies.
• 1+ years of experience with Azure DevOps or VSTS, utilizing boards, test plans, and user stories.
• 1+ years of functional software testing experience supported by an ISTQB Foundation certification.
• You possess an analytical and logical mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and defect detection.
• You're proactive and able to communicate in a structured manner with both technical and business stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Power BI for reporting and data consistency analysis.
• Knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
• Functional experience within the insurance industry.
• Fluent in Dutch and French.
