Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to support and strengthen organizational security through incident response, change management, and project execution with a focus on network security. The role involves maintaining a stable and highly secure environment by managing central routing points, multi-layer firewalls, and complex VPN solutions while collaborating with various security teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify vulnerabilities within the infrastructure and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Provide third-line support for change requests and security incidents via a ticketing system.
  • Contribute actively to security projects and the continuous evolution of the network environment.
  • Manage the daily operations of network security tools, including multi-layer firewalls and reverse proxies.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of DNS, domains, and public CA certificates.
  • Respond to security events by identifying, categorizing, prioritizing, and investigating incoming requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security infrastructure and implement standardized procedures.

Requirements

  • You have 1+ years of experience as a network specialist with a focus on Network Security.
  • You possess hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks and Panorama.
  • You bring proficiency in using Infoblox for network identity and control.
  • You have experience with GlobalProtect and Ivanti Connect Secure or Secure Access.
  • You possess knowledge of network infrastructure including Cisco and Fortigate technologies.
  • You have experience with bulk management of DNS and Certificates such as Sectigo or Harica CA.
  • You bring a solid background in system administration and configuration specifically related to networking technology.
  • You're fluent in Dutch with a C2 level of proficiency.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with F5 BIG-IP for load balancing and redirects.
  • Working knowledge of Splunk for log querying and analysis.
  • Familiarity with LAN and WAN protocols, including Routing and Switching.
  • Experience with CrushFTP and Freshservice or similar ITSM tools.
  • Previous experience working within the public sector.
