Profitability & Performance Analyst

Our client is a prominent organization in the services and insurance sector seeking to implement a standardized profitability analysis framework across its entities. This role serves as the architect and owner of a new approach to provide reliable, decision-oriented insights per product, customer, and business line.

• Map and document data sources across finance, HR, and operational systems to ensure data governance and quality.
• Gather business requirements from diverse stakeholders to design a standard profitability P&L structure.
• Develop comprehensive revenue and cost models, including allocation principles and cost-to-serve drivers.
• Analyze profit pools and value-destroying segments to provide actionable recommendations through root cause analysis.
• Transition manual processes into sustainable, automated data solutions in collaboration with IT and data teams.
• Bridge the gap between controlling, business, and IT to align on KPI standardization and target data architecture.
• Support business teams in interpreting profitability insights to enhance strategic decision-making.

• You have proven experience in performance analysis, specifically regarding profitability modeling, cost allocation, and P&L structures.
• You bring a track record of working effectively within multi-entity environments.
• You possess expert-level skills in Excel and data modeling.
• You're highly analytical, structured, and comfortable navigating ambiguity or incomplete data sets.
• You have strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial logic to non-technical stakeholders.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French at a native or bilingual level.
