Senior CMDB Specialist – ITSM & Energy Infrastructure

Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is looking for a Senior CMDB Specialist to lead the design and implementation of a centralized Configuration Management Database. The role focuses on driving the initiative end-to-end while ensuring alignment with service management practices and security standards.

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of a centralized CMDB, including design, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Define and maintain the CMDB data model to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Coordinate all implementation phases, stakeholders, and deliverables as the primary project lead.
• Ensure asset and configuration visibility to enable impact analysis and improved IT governance.
• Align the CMDB with security controls and ISO 27001 requirements.
• Optimize Change Management processes to ensure full integration with the configuration management database.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to support the adoption of ITSM and ESM processes.

• You have 8+ years of experience in CMDB design and implementation in large-scale environments.
• You bring expert knowledge of ITSM and ITIL frameworks and service management processes.
• You possess proven experience in leading complex IT projects and managing diverse stakeholders.
• You have a solid understanding of Change Management processes and enterprise architecture principles.
• You bring experience with data governance, data quality management, and ISO 27001 security practices.
• You're recognized for your strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• You are fluent in English with a very good knowledge of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or BMC.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Service Management (ESM).
• Background in digital transformation programs.

• Work regime: Full-time.
• Location: Brussels.
• Working model: Hybrid with 2 days of physical presence onsite per week.
