Senior Data Engineer – SAS Data Integration & DWH

Our client, a prominent organization in the utilities sector, is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their data management team. The project involves designing technical solutions and developing robust ETL processes to support a comprehensive data warehouse system.

• Design technical solutions based on functional specifications provided by the business analysis team.
• Develop SAS Data Integration Studio routines and chaining scripts to transfer data from operational systems.
• Create and maintain ETL packages and procedures to ensure data integrity and system performance.
• Execute integration tests and validate ETL routines against technical requirements.
• Collaborate with BI analysts to ensure the technical output meets business objectives.
• Produce technical documentation and procedures in accordance with the SDLC.

• You have 8+ years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing (DWH).
• You possess 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or Data Engineer within the BI and Analytics domain.
• You bring 3+ years of experience working with SAS Data Integration Studio.
• You possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
• You're able to demonstrate experience as a BI Developer across at least two distinct business sectors.
• You are proactive and can present ideas in a clear and structured way.
• You are fluent in French or Dutch with passive knowledge of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) and Python.
• Proven experience within the Utilities sector.
