Senior Project & Transition Manager – Cybersecurity & Transition

Our client, a prominent organization in the transportation sector, is seeking a leader to oversee the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives and their integration into operations. The role focuses on ensuring that large-scale projects are delivered on time, fully stabilized, and sustainable within the operational environment.

• Lead the end-to-end management of cybersecurity initiatives from initiation through delivery and operational stabilization.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets exceeding 20M€ while mitigating risks and dependencies.
• Ensure service readiness by defining acceptance criteria and coordinating operational documentation and tooling.
• Coordinate knowledge transfer and handover activities between delivery teams and operational departments.
• Collaborate with senior business, IT, and security stakeholders to ensure alignment with compliance and objectives.
• Establish and enforce governance, policies, and best practices across all delivery and transition activities.

• You bring 20+ years of experience in IT within large enterprise environments.
• You possess 10+ years of experience in project, program, or transition management.
• You have a proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programs and associated service transitions in high-risk environments.
• You bring expertise in Cybersecurity environments, including Identity & Access Management (IAM), compliance, and security best practices.
• You have experience managing complex initiatives with budget oversight exceeding 20M€.
• You possess a certification in at least one methodology: PRINCE2, PMI, PMBOK, PM2, or ITIL.
• You're proficient in using Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft 365.
• You have practical experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and COBIT frameworks.
• You are proactive and highly structured with strong leadership and conflict resolution capabilities.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French at a C2 level with a C1 level of English.

Nice to Haves

• Possession of CISSP certification.
• Possession of ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
• Experience with quantitative risk analysis techniques such as Monte Carlo analysis.
