Functional Analyst – Software Development

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and insurance sector, is seeking a Functional Analyst to join their core delivery team. This role focuses on translating business requirements into detailed user stories and functional specifications within an Agile framework to support software development initiatives.

• Translate business needs into clear functional analyses and user stories aligned with Agile practices.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine requirements and ensure the delivery of business value.
• Define functional specifications in cooperation with the architecture team to guide development.
• Support architects and software engineers throughout the development and implementation phases of the project.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Perform solution testing in integrated environments and support internal clients during acceptance testing.

• 5+ years of experience in Functional Analysis.
• 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis.
• 4+ years of experience in IT Architecture.
• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI).
• 3+ years of experience in business rules modeling using BPMN.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing.
• You bring working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• You are proactive and analytical with strong stakeholder management abilities.
• You are fluent in French with a good level of Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of English.
• Experience with Project Management methodologies.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
