Site Inspector – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure

Our client, a prominent public sector organization focused on infrastructure, is looking for a Site Inspector – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure. The role involves monitoring large-scale construction projects to ensure technical compliance and safety standards are met on-site.

• Monitor and supervise the execution of works by contractors on-site to ensure technical compliance.
• Record findings and complete quality control documentation and inspection sheets.
• Measure quantities realized by the contractor and prepare measurement statements for reporting.
• Coordinate with inspectors to ensure that necessary technical inspections are performed on schedule.
• Enforce safety measures and environmental regulations throughout the construction process.
• Report daily progress and operational issues to the site manager.
• Execute assignments during nights or weekends as required by project timelines.

• You possess a degree in higher technical secondary education in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• You have 3+ years of experience in site supervision for infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, or tunnels.
• You bring experience in drafting site reports and managing technical documentation.
• You are communicative, flexible, eager to learn, and demonstrate a strong safety-conscious mindset.
• You are fluent in Dutch.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of concrete, reinforcement, foundation techniques, drainage, earthworks, and steel construction.
• Experience with railway infrastructure projects.
