Our client, a prominent organization in the transport and infrastructure sector, is looking for a strategic powerhouse to join their security office. This role involves leading high-priority, cross-functional initiatives focused on cybersecurity capability uplift, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance within a highly visible environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic security and resilience initiatives from concept to execution to ensure robust protection and compliance.
  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive RFP documentation aligned with technical, business, and regulatory requirements.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders from IT, Legal, Risk, and Procurement to secure buy-in and execution support.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including the coordination of testing activities.
  • Deliver high-quality executive communication including CISO-level dashboards, risk summaries, and briefings.
  • Support the adoption of NIS2 requirements, ISO standards, and internal continuity policies.

Requirements

  • You bring 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, business continuity, or transformation topics within critical infrastructure or regulated environments.
  • You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • You possess at least two certifications from the following: CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Auditor, PRINCE2, PMP, or ADKAR.
  • You've demonstrated the ability to write and manage RFP processes and perform vendor evaluations.
  • You bring advanced knowledge of NIS2, ISO 27001, and ISO 22301 frameworks.
  • You're autonomous, structured, and possess a strong leadership presence with the ability to build clarity in ambiguous environments.
  • You're able to recover and realign complex efforts under pressure and high visibility.
  • You are trilingual with written and spoken fluency in Dutch, French, and English.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with IT Audit standards and methodologies.
  • Willingness to obtain additional specialized cybersecurity or change management certifications.
